Happy Birthday Aiden......The BIG "5"

We had a great fun filled Halloween day. We left the house at 7:00 am to watch 3 football games down in Cedar City - after about 5 hours of football which was so exciting the family and cousin Zachery headed to Chili's for Aiden's Birthday dinner. Once we got back to Enterprise we had Aiden's Birthday party at my sisters house with all the Kooopman cousins and watched Aiden open his presents and ate cake and ice-cream -after the party we were back to our house to prep for Halloween. We had a great time trick-or-treating around town. We are so blessed to have Aiden in our family. I don't know if he will ever know how much joy, excitement and happiness he brings to our whole family - he was so dang cute going from house to house and I love it that he enjoys having his Brithday on Halloween. Happy #5 Aiden BOY!!!

Yes, Michael made his own costume this year. He wanted to be a kissing booth. If you notice on the side it says, "Ages 11-18 free". He went with a group of friends trick-or treating all around town - Good memories and times!

More pics of our Halloween weekend.....

No pictures of Travis Jr. dressed up Halloween night - him and his cousin Zach went to a Birthday/Halloween party all night. This picture was taken Sunday morning - Trav and I team teach the 12 year old class in Sunday School - One of the BEST callings ever. We have a ball:)

Tanner also dressed like a pirate. Him and his cousin Caleb were out trick or treating for about 3 hours. They were excited about their loads of candy. I think this picture paints the picture of the night - half of his costume is off - protecting his bag of candy and just about ready to fall a sleep once he returned home.

Almost a TEENAGER....

Here is Travis Jr. - Can't believe he will be 13 in a few months. So glad he is our oldest and appreciate the great example and leader he is to his younger brothers.

We have been doing the football thing for a few months now - gets more exciting each week - The boys have worked so hard and are having some great experiences. We love, love, love watching them perform and become the BEST that they can be. We are looking forward to play-offs in November. At the end of July when we had the Doyle family reunion we hired a photographer to come and snap some shots of the family. Here are a few that she took. We really did have such a fun time together. It's so hard to get everyone together in one spot with our busy lives. Looking forward until next time we are together again....

Our Baby....

I had to post this picture of Aiden. He has been so patient the last few weeks while his brothers head off for football practice. He wants to do everything they do. Tonight the boys and cousins let him join them at the park for a little pick-up game of football. Such a fun kid to have around. He starts pre-school in a few weeks. He's all excited for that. Reminds me a bunch of Michael the way he likes to color and write his letters. Where would we be or do without our...Aiden.

I love family reunions. We just got back from the Doyle family reunion last week. Had such a great time. I'm grateful that my parents always made family a priority. We were able to spend time with my parents, all my siblings, nieces and nephews. My Dad also had his family reunion the same weekend - it was just a few hours but so glad I was able to see all my aunts, uncles and cousins on his side - fun to always pick up where we left off. Life is GOOD!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!

We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
