The Adventurous Spirit in Every Boy

Yesterday was my hubby's Birthday.
He was out of town but we are grateful
he gets to spend it with family there
in Texas. Thanks to Elizabeth, Jason,
Patch, Liv, Bridget, Eliza and Christopher
....Thanks for taking care of the Birthday
BOY!!!

I thought I would post this video of the boys.
Just one of their past times they share with
their dad. We are so grateful for Travis and the
excitement he brings to our lives as a husband
and father.

Eventful Weekned......

We had a great Valentine weekend. Trav and I
went to a movie after his church basketball
game Friday night. Saturday Tanner had a bye.
Went to Michael and Trav's basketball game.
That is always a treat!! They won and both
did awesome!!Went for haircuts...out to eat
to the Olive Garden...home for a break and
then went to the Weber vs Portland State boys
basketball game. We had a great time.
Yesterday we were back at the ER with
Aiden...he was playing with Tanner in the
computer room and bumped into the computer
desk...4 More stiches on the forehead for
him...dang it!!! Anyway, glad everyone
is home today and under the same roof.

Super "A"

My adorable, sweet, sister-in-law made
this shirt and cape for Aiden. She's
so crafty and creative....always has
something going for her twin boys.
Anyway, Aiden loves this cape and doesn't
like to take it off. you can see his pj's..
sometimes he likes to sleep in his super "A" cape.
Thanks Aunt Kristin for always making
everything so fun. We love our Super "Aiden"...

Tanner is 9

Our third son Tanner turned nine the 3rd of February. Tanner is playing basketball this year and loving it. I'm so
proud of him. He has been working so hard and is really enjoying life here in Huntsville.
Today he came home from school and said, "I love my teacher" ...today she handed him a piece
of candy after class and told him that she really enjoyed him as a student. I love teachers who
really enjoy what they do. You can tell she loves each of her students. We were able to take a
little treat in to his class on Tuesday and that was fun:) There is a ton of things I love
about Tanner...I'll list a few:

1)He loves animals
2)Enjoys math and science at school
3)He loves his brothers...I love when I see him and Michael with there arms around each other
walking together and visiting.
4)He has a great testimony. During FHE he is always the first to bare it:)
5)He loves little babies
6)I know he will be successful at what ever he sets out to do. He does things because
he wants to...I love that about him.
7)Tanner always makes good conversation
8)Keeps our family on our toes...
9)It's always funny to me when he makes a comment out of the blue..... always gets his brothers going on the good laughter.
10)He's sweet and thoughtful to me...I love that!

We love Tanner so much and are so grateful he is ours!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!

We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
