Uncle Luke, Conner and Easton comes for Thanksgiving...

So fun to have Luke's family come for Thanksgiving. Trav, Aiden, Conner, Luke, Conner and Easten went to vegas their last night here. Aiden was sad to see the twins go...so thankful for the time we had with you all. Thanks for the yummy dinner and for cheering the boys on in their basketball games. The  Doyle cousins had fun running with eachother in the crowd ...Samson, Caleb and Tanner were good about cheering on the boy cousins who were playing.

November to December

The end of October we celebrated Aiden's 8th Birthday. We are waiting for Trav Jr. to turn 16 this week to baptize him - Aiden's brithday is always a big day since he was bron on Halloween. Love his 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Bosshardt...may favorite teacher ever. Aiden adores her!!Fun celebrating with the cousins and family. Aiden's favorite gift was the bear chair he bought with the giftcard Nana and Papa Dougherty sent from Walmart. We are excited to use the neat towel Nana Kae sent for his baptism - She does this for all the Dougherty Grands when they turn 8...love this tradition:)

Baby Quin was born November 8th - this baby boy is too precious for words. Kadin and Dallin are just the best parents and Grandma Kelli is in heaven:) yes, this makes me a Great Aunt:)

Aiden turns 8 on Halloween

Can't believe our baby is turning 8 tomorrow. I am a firm believer that the Lord sends us our children in the order they come for a reason:) Aiden has brought so much love and excitement to our home. Here are some things that I enjoy watching Aiden do and that make him unique:
He is such a hard worker - loves to mow the lawn...pay his tithing...wrestle with Tanner...make us laugh when we are suppose to be serious...loves science...enjoys attending his brothers games and knows all their teamates by number...he is good at packing his"own" suitcase when we go places. he is a happy boy and waves at people everywhere we go. Last week my parents called from the Phillipines. It was the first time we had talked since they left...Aiden wanted to talk to his grandpa - on the other end of the phone I could tell my dad was trying not to tear up and cry...I love these moments...maybe it was Sunday after the Children's Sacrament program when I heard that cute little voice singing those songs that tell us why we are here..where we are going and remember to make good choices and listen to the spirit :) I am so glad our Father in Heaven sent this special spirit to our home. I am so glad I get to be your mom and enjoy the monents this earthly life gives us:) Love ya, Bud!!

Here are a few pics of Aiden's football team this year. His team won the championship in their age group. He is so fun to watch. It has been a few years since we had a 2nd grader play football..he is competitive and sometimes tackles people when he is only suppose to pull their flag:)

May, June and July....

Lots of fun things happening over the last few months. Brother Luke came over the 4th with his twin boys. It was so fun relaxing with him, Kel and all the kids. Enjoyed hanging at the pool in St. George, attending the Enterprise 4th of July Ceremony and of course the foot races down at the church lawn.

In May my parents moved into their new comfy home. You can tell by the pictures below what a fun lot they have. Tons of fruit trees, and space for family gatherings. The house they bought is older and had been vacant for years. We have been having lots of family projects and gatherings fixing the place up. Sissy and Jed came the week my parents moved in. SO fun to have them to party with for a few days - they were so helpful. Love, Love,LOve this town...

When Sissy and Jed came Travis Sr. got the Karoake all rigged up. It's been a family tradtion for years now.... especially when Aunt Cher comes or any of her family. Lots of smiles and laughs. Doesn't really take much to entertain this crowd though:)

The end of May we had a fun weekend in Richfield. We booked some hotel rooms and hung out for a few days watching the boys play in there basketball tournament - Trav drove up from Salt Lake and we made a weekend out of it. Fun and relaxing to spend time with people we love and enjoy!!

We just completed our 3rd year in Enterprise. We moved here 3 years ago on Kelli's 40th Birthday. Fun to celebrate her 43rd with her and the rest of the family. What a blessing her family is to ours. Lots of fun stuff going on with soon to be Granny Kel - she is going to have a Grandson in November. Jake was made a priest in May and baptised Kinley - What a blessing it is to live sooo close to family.

We had our Stake Baptism Day in June. Was special to take the boys to do baptisms for the dead. Of Course Grandpa Doyle was honored to perform all the baptisms and confirmations. Mom, Kel and I did initiatories. The gospel is such a blessings in our lives. I love being at the temple and the spirit and blessings we feel as we enter the house of the Lord.

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!

We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
