His Sacred Name - An Easter Declaration

One of my favorite things about April is General Conference. Trav surprised
me with a trip to Washington to see my parents over General Conference
Weekend. Loved seeing my parents and darling brothers, Kristin, Connor, Easton
Deanie and Conley. Also was able to catch up with one of my dearest friends ever, Connie.
Loved my visit with you all:)

This Easter I am more grateful then ever for our savior Jesus Christ. For
his atoning sacrifice for my imperfections and also for the sins of the world.
For my good husband who loves and cares for me. For our Four sons and the
goodness they offer our family. For the daily blessings we take for granted...food, shelter,
clothing and for family relationships - for the trials we have that mold us and help us become
stronger and more humble. I know that Christ lives... I am indeed grateful for his resurrection
and the life he lived. For the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today, for a living
prophet and power of the priesthood...the powerfulness of the Book of Mormon and the strength
that we receive from its truthfulness. May each of you enjoy this Easter Sunday with your families and loved ones - we look forward to seeing each of you and spending time with you this year!!

March to April...

In March I was called to be the Young Womens President of our ward. Over the last month it has been so fun getting to know the youth and participate in all the fun activities. Below is a picture of a Stake Youth Activity. All the wards had to learn different dances. I loved watching Michael and Trav dancing and having a good time. They really enjoyed themselves:)

Uncle Ben and Aunt Ursula came to Southern Utah a few weeks ago. We loved getting together with them. They brought with them all the LUCK in the world. They surprised the boys by walking into the gym while they were playing a basketball game. Trav Jr. made the basket to carry his team into overtime. Uncle Ben then came up to Enterprise and gave the boys a football lesson. He always takes advantage of those moments. When Aiden was just a few weeks old we moved to Florida - just a few hours from Ben and Ursula. They were always so good to come hang out with us on the weekends - We love them and are so grateful for our times with each of them.

PS - These pictures were taken up in Enterprise. I didn't have my camera down in St. George. That is why Ursula is not in any pics, but she took some fun ones with her camera. Let me tell you how beautiful she looks - pregnant with #3 and still looks like a Super-model:) Love you guys!

February to March....

The First of February Travis and Michael ended their St. George League basketball seasons. Trav's team tied for FIRST in league and Michael's team took 2nd. There were 4 teams from Enterprise that competed.
The middle of February the Enterprise HS coach organized a tournament and Trav and Michael's team ended up playing in the championship AGAINST eachother. They both had wonderful seasons and we look forward to watching many more games in the future:) They both were choosen to be on a traveling team ...had a few weeks off and started up again this week. I could sit for hours watching these boys....

Yea...our HS girls basketball team made it to state this year and took the championship - so fun to be apart of such a inspiring EVENT. The tournament was in Richfield, Utah..about 31/2 hours from Enterprise.
Grandma & Grandpa Doyle, Uncle Matt, Madalyn and Samson came to visit for 10 days. While they were here we celebrated Trav's 38th birthday, traveled to the state basketball tournament, celebrated Samson's 11th Brithday, watched my sister's girls (Kadin, Kamron and Kinley) perform in a dance recital, and attended Madalyn's baptism in St George. So many fun times and great memories...always fun to have family around.
Also, while my parents were visiting my Aunt Cherlyn(Mom's younger sister who is 18 years younger) came to Enterprise with Uncle Joe, Jed, Sissy, Ali and ALi's 2 daughters(Kaleigh and Kindee) - We stayed up late every night, sang, danced and did plent of laughing - what a great time we had. We feel so blessed so be related to such a close family and share the relationships that will last FOREVER....come back soon everyone and thanks for making the big trip to see us all....We love you!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!

We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
