Early August we made a trip up to Salt Lake to see Trav's brother and his family. Christopher, Eliza and Reese, it was so good to see you guys. We love that we can just pick up not matter how long it has been since we have seen you last. Thanks for fitting us in your busy schedule. Love the laughs, smiles and chats that keep us going...until next time. Hope to see you again soon. Give that beautiful Reese lots of hugs and kisses from all of us in Enterprise. We love ya!!

My Favorite Person
Today I found a paper that Trav Jr. wrote about his dad and wanted to share it. Here it is:
The person I want to talk on is my dad because my dad is the person you always just want to go talk to. Me and my dad do everything together when he is home. My dad is always encouraging me to do more.
My dad is the BEST guy you will ever meet because he is so nice. Whenever we watch football together it is so fun because we both love it so much and it gets really intense. Mt dad's favorite football team is Boise State but mine is BYU. I can't wait until they play eachother!!!
When my dad comes home from work we always have alot of fun together. We usually go to a really funny movie, throw or play basketball.
The reason I wanted to talk about my dad is because he is the greatest guy I know. I don't know what I would do without my dad.
Trav Jr. hit the nail on the head talking about his dad. I love that these two are so close - they do look like eachother and act so much alike. I'm so grateful for a husband who is such a good father - these boys are so lucky to have him as their DAD!! It's true.... everything is more fun when Trav Sr. is around:)

So, Mid-July I drove to Washington with my 4 boys to attend my High School Class Reunion. I'm glad I went - it was fun to visit with old friends...catch up and look towards to future. Can't believe it has been 20 years!!
A few days after we got back from Washington we hit the 24th of July parade - and went to the rodeo all weekend long - My parents kept Aiden and Tanner for a week in Washington - the boys hit Vale, Oregon for the 24th of July with my parents and were able to see lots of family along the way back home:)
Once the 24th was over it was all about decorations, invitations and Bridal showers - Lots of girls stuff....
Kadin turned 18 the day before she got married so when all of the family started arrvong the night before the wedding...we had a family Bridal shower - was super fun!!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!
We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
