January to February

Aiden got baptized the first of January. We waited for Trav to be ordained a priest so he could perform the ordinance. It was a very special day for our family. Trav Jr. was baptised the same day Aiden was blessed so thought it would be fun to carry on that tradition.

November, December, January and now February have kept us busy with the boys ball games. The boys also do a good job cheering for the girls teams.

New Years Eve

New Years Eve at the Koopmans - Kel and I were laughing because we were the only adults partying with the kids. Trav was in Salt Lake and Brandon was sick....lots of laughs. Happy 2013!!!!!

Tanner has a lot of fun in the Christmas variety show at the High School. He sang, danced and made us laugh with his funny faces and witty personality.

Tanner got to play Joseph in the Nativity Scene. Looks like Tanner has found his thing...he loves this stuff:)

The 28th & 29th Enterprise Hosted the Blue and Gold Tournament.
It was fun that the boys ended up taking the championship!!

Aiden is so much fun to watch on the basketball court. He has so much energy.
Sometimes he forgets this is basketball and not football. :)

They ended up being the surprise champions of the tournament. Such good boys!

Uncle Luke, Conner and Easton comes for Thanksgiving...

So fun to have Luke's family come for Thanksgiving. Trav, Aiden, Conner, Luke, Conner and Easten went to vegas their last night here. Aiden was sad to see the twins go...so thankful for the time we had with you all. Thanks for the yummy dinner and for cheering the boys on in their basketball games. The Doyle cousins had fun running with eachother in the crowd ...Samson, Caleb and Tanner were good about cheering on the boy cousins who were playing.

November to December

The end of October we celebrated Aiden's 8th Birthday. We are waiting for Trav Jr. to turn 16 this week to baptize him - Aiden's brithday is always a big day since he was bron on Halloween. Love his 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Bosshardt...may favorite teacher ever. Aiden adores her!!Fun celebrating with the cousins and family. Aiden's favorite gift was the bear chair he bought with the giftcard Nana and Papa Dougherty sent from Walmart. We are excited to use the neat towel Nana Kae sent for his baptism - She does this for all the Dougherty Grands when they turn 8...love this tradition:)

Baby Quin was born November 8th - this baby boy is too precious for words. Kadin and Dallin are just the best parents and Grandma Kelli is in heaven:) yes, this makes me a Great Aunt:)

Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!

We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
