Lots of stuff in December

Well, to start the month off. Travis and I took a 5 day trip to Atlanta for his yearly company party. We usually only go for 2 days but we decided to take a few more days to Celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. What? 14 years....crazy, huh. I'm more in love today then I was 14 years ago. Travis is still the man of my dreams and the person I want to spend forever with...love, love, love him. Travis Jr. turned 13 the day we left for Atlanta - Dang, we aren't getting any younger...but life sure keeps getting better. Travis Jr., is a great oldest son, he leads and guides, he is a true warrior, enjoys playing basketball right now, loves hanging out with family and friends, watching movies, loves the small town life and freedom.... makes life so enjoyable. After we arrived home from Atlanta we headed to Salt Lake for a few days. Spent sometime with Gram (Trav's Grandma)...it had been awhile since we all toured Temple Square - loved the beautiful lights and the spirit on the temple grounds. We headed back to Enterprise and spent Christmas EVE and Christmas here. Lots of fun times and food with my sister's family....We moved out of "Little Blue" 4 days after Christmas and our loving our new home and neighborhood. Only live a block from Sister Kel now, instead of 3:)....We are excited about the beginning...fresh start of 2010, we love goals!! We love our BOYS!! We are excited to watch and see what things they will accomplish and do this year. The gospel is true. We testify that Jesus is the Christ and he lives and loves us....really wants us to be Happy. We are grateful for wonderful families and friends that help us enjoy this earthly ride:) I'll post again in a few weeks.....Michael turns 12 on January 21st..

Awesome recap of your busy month!

Happy Belated Birthday and Anniversary to Travis Jr. and the happy couple :) !

The shots of sushi making brought back some fond memories. Miss that stuff.

Talked to Gram the other day and I know she loved seeing you all. She can never say enough good things about those handsome boys!

Glad the holidays were happy and safe. Congrats on the new home. I'm sure you have it decorated to the hilt already!

Hey, you shared an excellent quote about raising young men and I wondered if you wrote it or who did. I love it and used it on my blog, but wanted to give credit to the author.
How did the game go on Sat.? Hyrum had a fun Winter Camp experience. We will see you on Sat. Take care! Come on over to our blog anytime.

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!

We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
