Tribute To A Winner
A winner is a man who can persevere in the face of all adversity. He walks quietly with true humility and maintains his sovereignty with calm pride. He boasts not of his victories, yet accepts readliy his defeats. He has tenacity of purpose, devotion to God and devotion to his family. He never believes he can be beaten, yet never seeks an excuse if he should.
A winner never loses sight of his goals, never stops striving, no matter how large it might be. He is quick with praise, yet not fickle. He inspires, he leads, he works, he sweats, and bleeds and cries, but Never quits!!!
A Winner will attempt the impossible, Challenge the odds, and achieve the improbable - never understaning his opponent, but always expecting him to do what he himself would do in similar circumstances.
A Winner may never achieve his ulitimate purpose, but he will Never Give Up.
Whatever pinnacle a Winner may reach, he will never be satisfied, nor will he lose sight of who got him where he is and so....
He lives and dies WINNING.
I remember reading this poem when I was a young girl and had to post it because it reminds me so much of Travis Jr. and his desire to do good. Trav broke his Patella(his knee cap) and tore his Medial patellar retinaculum ligament a few months ago. We were so excited last week when his Dr. gave him the "ok" to play. He had only been practicing for 2 days and his coach started him in the J.V game. He is so fun to watch. The pictures below are from Friday night during the Varsity game. We loved watching every move he made - we are so thankful for him and the blessing he is so our family!! Great work #12.....

Tanner's 6th grade football team finished up last week. Tanner had a really fun team and enjoyed playing this season.
Michael #81 plays for the league championship this Friday. He's worked so hard all season and all that hard work is paying off. Good luck, BUD!!
Aiden loves attending all of the boys football games. He loves watching and cheering for them all. He is a little "go getter". We love these boys - it such a fun time in life to watch them grow, progress, learn and become stronger. They have some great teammates and the other parents are so fun and encouraging.....love it!!
