January Joys!!!!

.....because just being together is enough!!

..always love the holidays and the spirit they bring tp our home. The middle of December I had a little gettaway with the girls. My sister, mom, niece(kadin) and I went to Salt Lake for the weekend and attended "Time Out For Women". Had a great time listening to wonderful speakers and spending time with the gals.
Here is a collage of pictures from Christmas morning - So, fun to have my parents with us. The boys were cute and grateful for their gifts...the best gift was just being together as a family. Tanner took the time to buy special gifts at the school"store" we were surprised Christmas morning when he brought a humble gift out for each of us....he's thoughtful and will make the BEST husband and dad like Trav Sr.

The boys are pretty much clones of their dad - they love to hang out with eachother. I love the way Trav is close with his sons and always keeps them close to him.

The picture below is of Christmas EVE - It's always fun to have my sister's family to hang out with and really special we had my parents here...

We brought in the New Year at my sister's house - Played games and ate lots of yummy food.

During Christmas break Trav Jr. was invited to a basketball tourney in Wayne County Utah - about 3 hours from Enterprise. We enjoyed wacthing Trav play ball, Michael keep stats and lounging around in a hotel room for a few days - does it get better? Below is at half-time of one of Trav's games. Aiden was choosen to go down on the court and win a prize if he made the shot. The crowd cheered and stood to their feet when the ball went in the hoop. He loves to tag along with us to all the games and ask me pretty much every morning if his basketball game is "tomorrow".....he prepares his shoes, socks, jersey and water bottle sometimes 3 or 4 days before he plays ....he has watched his dad pack suitcases and get ready for business trips way too many times:)

So cool...Time Out For Women! I have never gone, but have only heard great things! You girls are way TOO CUTE!

Love that Aiden tanked his shot for a half time prize!!! He always had an extraordinary talent for the athletics. It's gonna be fun to watch that kid continue to excel. All those boys are awesome and we are in their fan section from a far.

It's fun to stay connected and "up to speed" with your lives.

Love you all,
Sis, Jason and MOBS

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Parents need to "play offense" - to capitalize on the impressionable years of childhood by instilling in their sons the antecedents of character. Their assignment during two brief decades will be to trasform their boys from immature and flighty youngsters into honest, caring men who will be respectful of women, loyal and faithful in marriage, keepers of commitments, strong and decisive leaders, good workers, and secure. And of course, the ultimate goal for people of faithis to give each child understanding of scripture and a lifelong passion of Jesus Christ. This is, I believe. the most important responsibility for those of us who have been entrusted with the careand Nurturance of children.

Christmas In Elma!!

We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
