What's up E-town basketball crew. I miss all of you guys like crazy. It's been about 6 months since I have seen all of you. Your probably getting ready for a big game and I want you guys to know that no matter who you play you can beat them. My first trainer on my mission was named Elder Jake Topham from Parowan. Some of you might remember him? And I remember what he said when he first saw me. He said " It's the Dougherty from the Enterprise basketball team." It was fun having him as my trainer I had a lot of fun asking him questions about us and how he would train for us and what not. I asked him what was the game plan when you played Enterprise? He said man we would train harder for you than any one of our opponents, he said that our coach just wanted to beat Enterprise so bad but we never quite got ya. He talked about how he and Caleb Murphy had the best game plan when they played Enterprise at home but it was like we were a total different team and we ended up beating them by 20 and he said that he hates thinking about that game. I asked if you had to remember anything about playing Enterprise what would it be? He said it seemed like all of you guys liked each other and you played as a team. And you know it's true we were a very close team and that's what I thought was the most fun about all of it. We all loved each other and cared about one another. I think that was the key to our success. My second area my zone leader was Elder Tyce Barney from Panguitch. Those were some fun preparation days! I ended up asking him the same question what did you think about Enterprise? He said it seemed like all of you played as a team and you would compliment each other and always talk with each other. He also mentioned about how he hated the jump and run.I remember being across from Elder Jake Jones at the free throw line and every time we would say to each other Yo you got this rebound. Oh how much I miss playing basketball. What I would do just to put on my 2 pairs of Jordan basketball socks and lace up the Super fly 2's one more time. Even just to have a practice in them. You guys are at one of the best points in your life right now. Enjoy the ride while it lasts. Love each other and have fun. Play as a team. You don't know how fast the time really does pass you by. What I would do if I could just watch all of you guys play together. I hope you know that even though I'm on my mission I'm still your number one fan supporting you as you go throughout your season. I love all of you. Enjoy the ride as it goes. I will forever be apart of the Enterprise Wolves and how proud I am to say that. Go out and I don't care if your playing Panaca or Lone Peak give it all you have and play with confidence. Always know that your shot is going in or that the rebound is yours. You are a very talented group of young men. You can do anything if you put your mind to it. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. All of you men can work together. I know great things are coming up for you as the season goes on. Play with confidence. I love all of you.Love Elder Dougherty

OUR FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF BOYS!!
Christmas In Elma!!
We left for WA the 13th of December - I barely made it to Seattle to hand the kids over to my Dad and catch a flight to Atlanta where I would join Trav for his company Christmas Party the next day. Trav and I had a fun get away and were able to do a little Christmas shopping. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday and flew back to Seattle Sunday morning where we stayed until January 3rd - We were able to catch a Elma Boys Basketball game. The boys thought it was really cool looking at all the family(uncles & aunts) names on the walls before you entered the Gym doors. Michael and I went and Chatted with Coach Nadau one afternoon. It was so fun spending time with family and friends
